Do you want to bid farewell to the old year? Welcome the new year with joy? Indulge in culinary delights? Then the Hotel Restaurant zur Post is the perfect place for you. Our hotel is located in the heart of Melk’s old town.

- 2 nights including breakfast buffet in the room category “Steinfeder” – “Federspiel” – “Smaragd” or in one of our suites
- On New Year’s Eve, enjoy a festive & fiery aperitif in the arcaded courtyard from 6:30 PM.
- Set the table! At 7:00 PM, our 5-course New Year’s Eve menu begins in our vaulted restaurant “Weinlust,” “Barock,” or “Donau.”
- Melk comes alive! At midnight, the main square invites you to a Danube Waltz and fireworks.
- To kick off the New Year, enjoy an extended “hangover breakfast” until 11:00 AM
- In the evening, we serve our traditional “Soup Pot and Tafelspitz.”
- A souvenir from the Wachau is a must: your lucky charm for 2024.
